Welcome to The Bla Bla Bunker, a podcast featuring interviews with regular people who have extraordinary stories to tell. The host, Almar Hilmarsson, is one of them. In 25 years he’s gone from Icelandic lawyer and airline CEO to tattooed, bearded meat enthusiast with a startup in Central Europe. On the way, he’s made plenty of stops, and cultivated a habit of running into interesting people and asking them interesting questions. Nothing is off limits in the Bla Bla Bunker, and Almar may ask questions that most people wouldn’t dare to ask.

Dashi Stardust is a musician, actress, podcaster, dancer, model and she also does web designs from time to time.
She visited my bunker and told me her story that started in a small town in Slovakia just after communism ended. Things were a bit more old fashioned than what we are used to nowadays so when her brother came out as gay back in the early 2000's it was something that impacted her view on life going forward.
Dashi was always into dancing and had her mind set on becoming a ballerina but later on, with some very random twists and turns (including Patti Smiths and Suzanne Vega's percussionist) got more and more into music.
She told me how that transition was and about her new album that she is currently working on.
